About the role
- Provide first line leadership to the administration team
- Supervise clerical and administrative staff within Specialist Consulting (Outpatients)
- Assist in managing staff rosters and annual leave quotas
- Deliver training for new staff and ongoing development for existing team members
- Produce and analyse patient booking reports, ensuring accuracy and supporting staff in error correction
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings
- Support the preparation and facilitation of monthly team meetings
- Maintain high standards of professionalism in patient reception and appointment booking
