About the role

  • Monarch is a powerful, all-in-one personal finance platform designed to help make the complexity of finances feel simple again. We are a team of do-ers led by experienced entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping our members reach their financial goals. As a fully remote company (even before COVID!), we welcome applicants from almost anywhere. Our team collaborates synchronously mostly from 9 AM – 2 PM PT and embraces asynchronous work to stay connected across time zones. Join us on our mission to transform lives by simplifying money, together. Senior Financial Analyst to support the Finance function during a period of hyper-growth. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll play a key role in scaling our financial planning processes as we grow post closing our Series-B. Blends strategic finance with hands-on execution — maintaining and improving our core financial model, owning monthly reporting and variance analysis in close partnership with Accounting, and developing ROI models to guide product and growth investments. Work closely with the leadership team to drive critical decisions around growth strategy, unit economics, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of total experience, with a background in Saas, investment banking, management consulting, or a similarly high-stakes environment. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, building models from scratch, and presenting insights to senior leadership. Advanced Excel skills. Thrives in a fast-moving, ever-evolving startup environment. You’re not afraid to get into the weeds to solve problems. Strong ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders. Passionate about building something from the ground up and excited to be a key player in our growth journey. Experience managing or mentoring team members preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA is a plus.
