About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain internal tools such as our internal CLI, GitHub Actions, and Slack bots to streamline engineering workflows.
- Evaluate, prototype, and integrate AI-powered developer tools that improve productivity, code quality, and operational efficiency.
- Build and enhance internal APIs to support cross-team automation, integrations, and developer platform capabilities.
- Monitor, iterate, and improve tools post-deployment to ensure performance, usability, and adoption across the organization.
- Collaborate with all engineering and business operations teams to identify pain points and deliver solutions that remove friction.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on internal tools, developer productivity, or platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Python for tooling, automation, and API development.
- Experience with full-stack development (React, TypeScript, or similar) for internal dashboards or web-based tools.
- Proven track record using or integrating AI/ML tools (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain) in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and developer platform best practices (GitHub Actions, automated testing, deployment pipelines).
