About the role

  • Keep organized and meet all reporting deadlines
  • Maintain meticulous records and respond to resident concerns
  • Oversee application process and lease accuracy
  • Communicate with vendors and contractors; manage bills and insurance
  • Assist with rent increase approvals and manage office correspondence
  • Participate in Board meetings as required
  • Support procurement activities and budget adherence
  • Process property invoices and manage rental payments
  • Assist the Account Manager as needed
  • Foster positive owner/resident relations and implement policies fairly
  • Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and supervise routine maintenance
  • Handle repair orders and follow up on service requests
  • Coordinate bundled in-unit resident services
  • Hire, train, and manage on-site staff; conduct orientations and reviews
  • Review and approve timesheets and provide ongoing staff training
  • Regularly inspect property and oversee repairs and turnovers
  • Coordinate contractors for timely turnovers and monitor maintenance
  • Develop long-term facility and equipment management plans
  • Provide feedback in emergencies, complete incident reports, and maintain on-call system
  • Ensure proper reporting of workers' compensation claims
  • Prepare team to step in for the Community Manager when needed

Requirements

  • CMCA or M100 certification (CMCA designation from CAI preferred)
  • High School Diploma required
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong customer service background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a driver's license as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with KCM's software and internet usage
  • Ability to move throughout the property and manage stairs
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for office tasks
