About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead new product innovation (NPI) projects from strategy through customer adoption and commercial launch
  • Support regional sales teams with customer-facing technical engagement, including new product introductions and development programs
  • Identify and develop new markets and applications beyond traditional sulfur silane use cases
  • Design and execute tire and rubber lab studies, including performance evaluation, data analysis, and customer troubleshooting
  • Translate customer needs into technical requirements and clear value propositions
  • Ensure products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Collaborate globally across technology, process, operations, marketing, and product management teams
  • Contribute technical expertise to product positioning, launches, and industry conferences
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, mainly within the U.S. with some global travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
  • 7+ years of experience in tire/rubber application engineering, R&D, technical service, or product development
  • Hands-on experience with tire/rubber materials, testing, and vulcanized systems
  • Strong knowledge of silane structure–property–performance relationships
  • Expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and materials testing
  • Advanced degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with chemical synthesis and analytical techniques (preferred)
  • Customer-facing experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives (preferred)
