About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments;
Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of database environments;
Implement and manage Disaster Recovery solutions and Oracle Data Guard;
Execute migrations of environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);
Automate infrastructure using Terraform;
Monitor critical environments and perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve incidents;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define architectures and cloud best practices;
Support continuous improvement initiatives for the infrastructure and operation of Oracle Cloud environments;
Other related duties.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience administering Oracle Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS);
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);
Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database administration;
Experience with Oracle Data Guard and Disaster Recovery solutions;
Hands-on experience migrating systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);
Experience automating infrastructure using Terraform;
Knowledge of monitoring critical environments and advanced troubleshooting;
Proactive, analytical profile with experience in mission-critical corporate environments;
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to define architectures and cloud best practices;
Bachelor's degree required.
