About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Performs a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or distribution of electrical energy
- Installs, maintains, and replaces electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment
- Inspect and maintain the safety devices related to the process equipment
- Complete basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications
- Ability to lead projects and complete successfully
- Ensures assigned area and satellite shop area are clean and organized
- Provide the supervisor a list of parts required to complete tasks
- Prioritize activities for assigned areas (PMs/Work Orders/Inspections)
- Draft, request, and validate SOPs for assigned area to guarantee other team members are trained on documentation
- Support the rest of the Maintenance Department during unplanned downtime (call in or phone call)
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electrical code
- Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred
- 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience
- 2 years industrial electrical experience
- Formal PLC training preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
