About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Performs a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or distribution of electrical energy
  • Installs, maintains, and replaces electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment
  • Inspect and maintain the safety devices related to the process equipment
  • Complete basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications
  • Ability to lead projects and complete successfully
  • Ensures assigned area and satellite shop area are clean and organized
  • Provide the supervisor a list of parts required to complete tasks
  • Prioritize activities for assigned areas (PMs/Work Orders/Inspections)
  • Draft, request, and validate SOPs for assigned area to guarantee other team members are trained on documentation
  • Support the rest of the Maintenance Department during unplanned downtime (call in or phone call)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of electrical code
  • Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred
  • 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience
  • 2 years industrial electrical experience
  • Formal PLC training preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
