About the role

  • Responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate mechanical drawings and 3D models using CAD software to support engineering, fabrication, and production processes.
  • Develop and revise detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Translate field measurements into accurate technical drawings.
  • Export and prepare files for CNC programming in Mastercam.
  • Perform on-site measurements using precision tools.
  • Maintain drawing documentation and revision control.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting & Design, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (required).
  • Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software preferred.
  • Experience taking field measurements and using precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
