About the role

  • Responsible for the development and testing of mechanical equipment for non-electrical equipment
  • Responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, components, or applications
  • Provides quality-control inspections to ensure proper mechanical processes
  • Performs preventative maintenance schedules, diagnosing and fixing faults in equipment
  • Maintains engines and gear components, conveyor or packing equipment as well as robotic machinery
  • Designs, develops, tests, and modifies related electric components, equipment, products, and services

Requirements

  • Certification/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from accredited school
  • One or more years experience in repairing, maintaining, and installing mechanical machinery
  • Lift Truck Certification preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the repair or operation of mechanical equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable building electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, boilers, generators, etc.
  • May be required to use department specific database systems such as CAD, Microsoft Suite
