About the role
- Responsible for the development and testing of mechanical equipment for non-electrical equipment
- Responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, components, or applications
- Provides quality-control inspections to ensure proper mechanical processes
- Performs preventative maintenance schedules, diagnosing and fixing faults in equipment
- Maintains engines and gear components, conveyor or packing equipment as well as robotic machinery
- Designs, develops, tests, and modifies related electric components, equipment, products, and services
Requirements
- Certification/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from accredited school
- One or more years experience in repairing, maintaining, and installing mechanical machinery
- Lift Truck Certification preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in the repair or operation of mechanical equipment
- In-depth knowledge of applicable building electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, boilers, generators, etc.
- May be required to use department specific database systems such as CAD, Microsoft Suite
