About the role
- Provide interior design advice and product expertise
- Facilitate tile and stone selection, and project development/support
- Ensure completion of selection/sales for all customers
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal team members
- Reports sales closures monthly
- Prospect for new business with an emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers
- Maintain showroom samples and merchandising
- Plan and host showroom tours and industry trade events
Requirements
- A four-year degree in a related field
- Four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience
- Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service skills
- Design/sketching/reading blueprints/Auto-CAD a plus
- Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize innovative solutions
- Computer skills: MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
