About the role

  • Provide interior design advice and product expertise
  • Facilitate tile and stone selection, and project development/support
  • Ensure completion of selection/sales for all customers
  • Effectively communicate with customers and internal team members
  • Reports sales closures monthly
  • Prospect for new business with an emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers
  • Maintain showroom samples and merchandising
  • Plan and host showroom tours and industry trade events

Requirements

  • A four-year degree in a related field
  • Four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience
  • Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service skills
  • Design/sketching/reading blueprints/Auto-CAD a plus
  • Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize innovative solutions
  • Computer skills: MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
