About the role
- Lead the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable digital products
- Drive technical direction, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals
- Integrate large language models and retrieval augmented generation systems into functional applications
- Lead code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and security
- Mentor and support engineers through coaching, pairing, and constructive feedback
- Contribute hands-on to the codebase while guiding architectural decisions and best practices
- Review wireframes/design mockups and prototypes and ensure their feasibility
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver high-quality, user-centered experiences
- Attend and engage in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear insights
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through iteration, experimentation, and innovation
- Other duties related to the position that may arise from time to time and as may be assigned
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in software design and development with a strong full-stack background
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or senior engineering role
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET, Java or similar)
- Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, and scalable application design
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth
- Experience with AI and agentic systems and technology is a strong plus
