Chief of Staff

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as an Extension of Executive Leadership
- Partner closely with the CEO and CTO to drive key initiatives and organizational priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and operational thought partner across the business.
- Help identify, triage, and resolve issues that require leadership attention before they become larger organizational challenges.
- Ensure important initiatives continue moving forward even when executive leadership is focused on external priorities such as fundraising, partnerships, and strategic growth efforts.
- Drive Organizational Effectiveness
- Improve communication, alignment, and collaboration across teams.
- Identify sources of friction, confusion, or inefficiency and proactively implement solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and help teams navigate competing priorities.
- Create processes and operating rhythms that improve execution and accountability.
- Support Strategic Initiatives
- Help coordinate major company initiatives, including product launches, organizational changes, and strategic projects.
- Track progress against company goals and ensure stakeholders remain aligned.
- Provide structure and follow-through on complex, cross-functional efforts.
- Lead People Operations
- Own and evolve people operations functions, including performance management, employee development, career growth frameworks, and organizational planning.
- Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees on people-related matters.
- Build scalable programs that strengthen company culture and employee engagement and wellbeing.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Business Operations, People Operations, Talent Leadership, or related strategic operational role.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with a willingness to step into ambiguous situations and drive outcomes.
- High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal judgment.
- Experience managing sensitive people-related matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to influence and coordinate senior leaders across multiple functions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
