About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Engage with users on social media for specific locations marketed as attractive holiday destinations
Inform, engage, and inspire potential visitors through email, community forums, and social media
Conduct proactive engagement across social media channels
Research and source relevant answers to questions in a timely manner
Handle sensitive situations with care
Work scheduled mornings Monday–Thursday and afternoons Monday–Tuesday, within GMT timezone needs
Install ModSquad security software and enable two-factor authentication on the device and mobile phone

Requirements

What you’ll need

French/English bilingual; French as the primary language
Travel experience
Excellent writing skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation, in English and French
Ability to communicate tone creatively on social media
Empathetic approach to handling sensitive situations
Experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
Experience with proactive engagement across social media channels
Professional community and forum experience
Ability to research and source relevant answers quickly
Geographical knowledge of Ireland and places of interest on the island is a bonus
Experience with social media tools such as Conversocial is a bonus
Flexible availability and willingness to pick up extra shifts at short notice are a plus
Experience exploring the island of Ireland is a plus
Dedicated laptop or desktop
Minimum 8 GB RAM
Reliable internet connection
