About the role
- Serve as first point of contact for customers of a leading music streaming service
- Respond to customer inquiries via inbound messages in Portuguese and English
- Help customers navigate the platform and troubleshoot technical issues
- Ensure customers have the best possible listening experience
- Handle multiple simultaneous chats and maintain composure under pressure
- Complete required orientation (8 weeks) and meet production hour commitments
- Use ModSquad security software and tools and complete language assessments as required
Requirements
- Fluent in Portuguese and English with professional-level communication skills
- All qualified applicants must complete language assessments in Portuguese and English
- Experience providing support through inbound messaging
- Experience handling 3-5 simultaneous chats
- Orientation: 40 hours per week for 8-week orientation (Phase 1: 4 weeks, 4 AM - 1 PM PT; Phase 2: 4 weeks, self-scheduled during available production hours)
- Available Production Hours: Daily, 24/7
- Project Commitments: 25 hours per week; 12 hours required on Saturday and/or Sunday
- Project length: 180 days (as needed by ModSquad)
- Workspace: dedicated laptop or desktop running Windows 10 or newer
- Willingness to install ModSquad security software and a 2FA app on mobile device
- Access to a webcam or a smartphone capable of capturing clear photos
- Stable broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps
- At least 8 GB of RAM (dual monitors strongly recommended)
- Chromebook is not sufficient
- Must be able to convert Pacific Time orientation/production hours to local time
