About the role

  • Serve as first point of contact for customers of a leading music streaming service
  • Respond to customer inquiries via inbound messages in Portuguese and English
  • Help customers navigate the platform and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Ensure customers have the best possible listening experience
  • Handle multiple simultaneous chats and maintain composure under pressure
  • Complete required orientation (8 weeks) and meet production hour commitments
  • Use ModSquad security software and tools and complete language assessments as required

Requirements

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English with professional-level communication skills
  • All qualified applicants must complete language assessments in Portuguese and English
  • Experience providing support through inbound messaging
  • Experience handling 3-5 simultaneous chats
  • Orientation: 40 hours per week for 8-week orientation (Phase 1: 4 weeks, 4 AM - 1 PM PT; Phase 2: 4 weeks, self-scheduled during available production hours)
  • Available Production Hours: Daily, 24/7
  • Project Commitments: 25 hours per week; 12 hours required on Saturday and/or Sunday
  • Project length: 180 days (as needed by ModSquad)
  • Workspace: dedicated laptop or desktop running Windows 10 or newer
  • Willingness to install ModSquad security software and a 2FA app on mobile device
  • Access to a webcam or a smartphone capable of capturing clear photos
  • Stable broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps
  • At least 8 GB of RAM (dual monitors strongly recommended)
  • Chromebook is not sufficient
  • Must be able to convert Pacific Time orientation/production hours to local time
