About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the roadmap for clinical documentation and adjacent practice-operations workflows, including tasking, office workflow, document management, and communication/messaging
  • Understand market, provider, front/back-office staff, and internal stakeholder needs to execute the product roadmap
  • Present and communicate strategic vision and tactical roadmap details internally and externally
  • Produce slide decks, requirement documents, and customer communications covering product strategy, features, and releases
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Domain/Specialty Leads, clinical SMEs, and customers to define business and clinical requirements
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including PI planning and standups
  • Work with the Release Train Engineer and Engineering leadership on refinement and release processes
  • Convert requirements into clearly defined features and own them through their lifecycle
  • Define and document epics for clinical documentation, task management, document/fax/mail workflows, and staff-to-patient communication
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on software release management and rollout documentation
  • Manage alpha and beta releases, including provider/staff interaction and feedback through launch
  • Contribute to company and departmental goals
  • Champion AI tools throughout the product development lifecycle to increase velocity and quality
  • Foster a provider- and staff-centric quality culture and drive measurable improvements through enhancements and automation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in healthcare technology
  • Experience managing a roadmap and/or creating functional requirements, including use cases, user stories, clinical workflows, practice-operations workflows, and technology requirements
  • Working knowledge of clinical workflows and EHR/EMR functionality, including clinical documentation, orders/results, and clinical decision support
  • Experience with practice-operations features such as tasking, document management, and messaging/communication tools is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare quality/compliance frameworks such as HEDIS, MIPS/MACRA, ONC certification, and meaningful use is a strong plus
  • Well-developed presentation skills for clinicians, office staff, customers, and executives
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, problem-solving, and fast-paced working skills
  • Confidence in decision-making and advocating for roadmap decisions and prioritization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while self-directed and well-organized
  • Ability to collaborate, actively listen, and independently drive meetings across Engineering, Product, UX, clinical SMEs, and customers
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies is a plus
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in the SDLC, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot, is a strong plus
  • Acts as an agent of change and fosters a provider- and staff-centric quality culture
  • Track record working with distributed teams across countries and time zones
  • Some travel expected, less than 25%
