About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and lead a major legal function or domain (e.g., commercial, product, regulatory).

Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor, Law
- 9–13+ years of progressively responsible legal experience.
- Significant in-house legal experience within a SaaS, healthcare technology, or other regulated industry environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning a legal function, domain, or major area of responsibility (e.g., commercial contracting, product counseling, privacy, regulatory).
- Proven track record of leading complex, high-value commercial transactions (e.g., SaaS agreements, strategic partnerships, data-sharing arrangements).
- Experience advising senior business leaders (Director/VP level and above) on legal, regulatory, and operational risks.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical, business-oriented solutions.
- Experience developing and implementing legal processes, playbooks, and frameworks to improve scalability and efficiency.
- Strong cross-functional experience partnering with Product, Compliance, Security, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (healthcare, data privacy, or SaaS-related).
- Ability to design and implement scalable legal frameworks, templates, and processes.
- Strong issue-spotting and risk assessment capabilities across legal domains.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align legal guidance to company objectives.
- Ability to balance risk mitigation with growth enablement.
- Experience influencing strategic decision-making at senior leadership levels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal audiences.
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
