About the role
- Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, user guides, job aids, and e-learning modules, for various RCM products and features.
- Conduct engaging and effective virtual and in-person training sessions for clients (medical practices, hospitals, and billing companies) and internal Modernizing Medicine staff.
- Assess training needs and tailor content and delivery methods to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical proficiency and RCM experience.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to trainees, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering best practices for RCM workflows.
- Collaborate with product development, implementation, and support teams to stay informed about product updates and enhancements, incorporating relevant information into training programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make continuous improvements.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Modernizing Medicine's RCM software and industry best practices.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base and frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to RCM training.
- Travel as required to client sites for on-site training and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in RCM training, implementation, or a related healthcare IT role.
- Proven expertise in Revenue Cycle Management processes, including patient registration, charge entry, claims submission, denial management, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs to diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in creating professional training documentation and presentations using tools like Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certification in professional training or adult education is desirable.
