About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a key relationship manager for transportation providers within an assigned market.
- Build and maintain productive provider relationships at the local and regional level.
- Represent the company in meetings with provider partners to manage performance and identify mutual solutions.
- Make decisions related to provider relationships and day-to-day operational needs.
- Manage transportation execution across all modes for the assigned area.
- Monitor provider performance against key metrics, including safety, on-time delivery/pickup, reroutes, compliance, trip acceptance, on-time to pick/depart, on-time to destination, digital compliance, and complaints.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through ongoing provider communication and data review.
- Use information across multiple systems to identify root causes and take action to resolve issues within the network.
- Partner with Operations leadership to reduce reroutes, missed trips, provider complaints, and member abrasion.
- Conduct training sessions for providers and departmental staff on policies, procedures, processes, portals, and system changes.
- Escalate issues that require input from cross-functional teams or senior leadership.
- Support safety and compliance to help ensure a safe work environment for all.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Zero (0) plus years of experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information, negotiate, and resolve conflict.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at varying levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Customer service mindset and the ability to create a positive experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with non-emergency transportation brokerage is a plus.
- Knowledge of proprietary software or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
