Maintain and improve scalable, reliable cloud and on-premises software infrastructure while providing solutions to reduce operational risk
Build and maintain availability and performance monitoring tools to identify operational risks and issues
Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis of operational incidents, and implement proactive solutions
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems and lead incident resolution efforts
Advise development teams on designing and implementing features with reliability and scalability in mind
Develop disaster recovery solutions and document processes and critical system components
Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline deployments, operations, and overall system efficiency
Administer infrastructure and third-party SaaS components that support the system

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or a related role
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Experience with Microsoft development stack (Windows, SQL Server, IIS, .NET)
Experience with Azure cloud platform
Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Shell, etc.)
Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with Azure, AWS, and on-premises systems preferred
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD)
Understanding of networking and security best practices
Experience with infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform, etc.)
