About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own products that make up Modern Treasury's Payments offering.
Leverage AI where possible and push the envelope of what AI-enabled product execution looks like.
Help manage the experience of getting customers and their end users onto the platform quickly and safely.
Design onboarding flows that reduce time-to-first-payment while meeting the requirements of banks, partners, and regulators.
Work closely with compliance and risk teams to translate KYC, KYB, sanctions, and other regulatory requirements into product.
Go deep into the design of the rails that power payments — domestic schemes like ACH, wire, and RTP.
Help define how funds are funded, held, and moved so that customers can settle payments efficiently.

Requirements

What you’ll need

AI Fluency: You will help build and run AI-native workflows across the business.
Payments experience: You have built payments products before and are familiar with both US and international payments.
Cross-border expertise: Ideally, you have experience with both US and international cross-border payment rails.
Interest in or experience with stablecoins: You have experience with, or a strong interest in, stablecoins.
Technical fluency: You relish going deep with engineers on the details of payment systems.
Customer obsession: You want to spend a ton of time with customers and prospects.
Ownership at scale: You have a track record of shipping and iterating on products.
