About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including publishing all job postings
  • Source and recruit legal talent for current or future firm locations under departmental leadership
  • Post and source for corporate talent as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for job seekers and ensure a positive, professional candidate experience
  • Develop professional relationships with candidates to represent the firm positively
  • Recruit and source talent according to strategies from the Director of People & Culture, Legal Talent Recruiting Manager, and Chief Executive Officer
  • Review applications, resumes, cover letters, and writing samples and evaluate qualifications independently
  • Conduct Zoom interviews, document observations, and identify candidates for further consideration
  • Schedule and facilitate hiring-manager interviews while ensuring inclusivity and labor-law compliance
  • Collaborate with People & Culture on compensation, benefits, and offer packages
  • Prepare offer letters and onboarding documents
  • Support onboarding tasks for new hires with the People & Culture Coordinator and Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Reliable remote work setup with high-speed internet and a functional workstation
  • Minimum of two years of legal recruiting experience required
  • Direct legal sourcing and recruitment experience for a law firm or legal recruiting agency required
  • Skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing for hard-to-fill roles
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems, including familiarity with Salesforce
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Zoom
  • Professional communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and emergent issues
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as necessary
  • Capacity to handle routine or urgent issues in a remote-first environment
  • Must be able to perform the role’s duties with or without reasonable accommodations
  • College degree preferred
