About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in MFL Academy’s Residency Program in one of our Colorado offices
  • Join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy
  • Receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams
  • Transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar
  • Manage direct client contact and case management on matters involving divorce, child custody, financial support
  • Develop litigation skills as first chair early in your career

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Register for the upcoming February or July 2027 Bar exam.
  • Attain a passing score on the MPRE __before__ sitting for the Bar exam.
  • Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.
  • Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
  • Mock Trial experience is a plus.
  • Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.
