About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in MFL Academy’s Residency Program in one of our Colorado offices
Join MFL to receive training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy
Receive mentorship from the MFL Learning & Development department and legal teams
Transition to an MFL Associate Attorney position upon passing the Bar
Manage direct client contact and case management on matters involving divorce, child custody, financial support
Develop litigation skills as first chair early in your career

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
Register for the upcoming February or July 2027 Bar exam.
Attain a passing score on the MPRE __before__ sitting for the Bar exam.
Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.
Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
Mock Trial experience is a plus.
Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.
