About the role
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
- Drive project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using Agile or hybrid project management practices
- Identify and resolve project risks, blockers, and dependencies to ensure successful and timely delivery
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope, success criteria, and detailed project plans
- Prepare and present project updates to senior technology leaders and cross-functional business partners
- Partner with technical teams to identify solutions for issues that impact delivery timelines
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, action items, risk logs, and presentation decks
- Coordinate with software development, DevOps/infrastructure, IT, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on project objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in a software or technology-driven environment
- Strong technical acumen to understand engineering, infrastructure, and IT concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional technology projects and managing complex dependencies
- Proven ability to identify project risks, create mitigation plans, and maintain delivery momentum
- Strong organizational skills with experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet)
- Experience creating presentation decks to communicate project updates to senior stakeholders and general updates for department-wide meetings
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (and/or certification) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certification
