About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the focal point to ensure tax compliance for complex operations structured through company consortia
- Work closely with the company's accounting firm and the consortium billing team
- Ensure correct issuance of invoices by the lead company, by consortium members or under the consortium's own CNPJ, as per the agreement
- Ensure proper application of withholding taxes specific to the public sector
- Apply RFB Normative Instructions and municipal rules regarding ISS
- Analyze and monitor receivables in the Totvs/RM system
- Support the finance team in cash flow management
- Define and apply the rules for the place of service provision under LC 116/03 for construction works and projects across the country
- Manage municipal registrations (CPOM) and prevent double taxation
- Control the tax flow of expense reimbursements and cost allocations among consortium companies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Law
- Strong experience in tax matters involving company consortia and billing services to the public sector
- In-depth knowledge of ISSQN rules (LC 116/03) for consulting engineering, project management, inspection or supervision
- Advanced experience with large-scale ERPs such as Totvs/RM
- Experience with NFS-e issuance tools across multiple municipalities
- Advanced Excel skills for data cross-checks and tax reconciliations
- Attention to bureaucratic details required by public authorities
- Ability to liaise with contract managers and consortium partners
- Strong ethical and technical rigor in meeting deadlines and legal requirements
