About the role
- Develop comprehensive multi-phased transition plans for large-scale client transitions within the mortgage sector.
- Execute transition plans, ensuring all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate resources from both the company and the client to facilitate seamless transitions.
- Identify and address potential issues, implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Maintain robust client relationships, acting as the primary liaison to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
- Conduct regular site visits to client locations to monitor progress and address any on-site issues.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior leadership and clients.
- Foster a collaborative environment, optimizing operations and leveraging strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Work closely with internal teams, including technology, human resources, and reporting, to ensure alignment and continuity during transitions.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex transition projects involving significant resource movements.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent certification.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to travel frequently and work on-site at client locations as required.
- Experience with default servicing, loss mitigation, loan modifications, and related mortgage processes is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a metrics-driven approach to tracking progress and optimizing outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in project management, with a focus on large-scale transitions and the mortgage industry.
