About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review factory build sheets to perform quality inspections on buses produced by Forest River and Arboc for Model 1
- Provide lists of discrepancies and concerns to the Forest River and Arboc teams for correction
- Complete quality control forms and ensure corrections are completed per Model 1 quality standards
- Document all inspection findings in the Model 1 software system
- Check units into the Model 1 computer system
- Report changes, faults, concerns, or alterations to the Forest River and Arboc QC Teams for repair
- Relay unresolved repair concerns to the Model 1 QC manager
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years' industry experience
- Technical knowledge of the characteristics and maintenance needs of a wide variety of transit and mechanical equipment
- Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of shop operations
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong initiative
- Strong organizational skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Capable of time management
- Frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing may be required
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs
