About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review factory build sheets to perform quality inspections on buses produced by Forest River and Arboc for Model 1
Provide lists of discrepancies and concerns to the Forest River and Arboc teams for correction
Complete quality control forms and ensure corrections are completed per Model 1 quality standards
Document all inspection findings in the Model 1 software system
Check units into the Model 1 computer system
Report changes, faults, concerns, or alterations to the Forest River and Arboc QC Teams for repair
Relay unresolved repair concerns to the Model 1 QC manager
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent
3-5 years' industry experience
Technical knowledge of the characteristics and maintenance needs of a wide variety of transit and mechanical equipment
Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of shop operations
Valid Driver’s License
Strong initiative
Strong organizational skills
Good problem-solving skills
Capable of time management
Frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing may be required
Good manual dexterity
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs
