About the role

  • Play a central role in controllership and financial planning, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions;
  • Apply agile methodologies in executing responsibilities;
  • Apply expertise in managerial close, EBITDA, income statement (P&L), management balance sheet and debit notes;
  • Monitor proper classification, reclassification and accounting reconciliations, analyzing all accounts in accordance with legal definitions and the company’s chart of accounts;
  • Build digital financial statements to support decision-making;
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets in SAP, revenue trend analyses and budgeting;
  • Establish processes with business areas, acting as a business partner in the budgeting process;
  • Monitor financial costs and expenses, identifying opportunities to reduce spending;
  • Ensure information governance throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in Controllership is recommended
  • Advanced Excel
  • Broad knowledge of financial management: income statement (P&L) analysis, budget preparation and reconciliation of accounting results, cost and expense control, FP&A — Financial Planning & Analysis and budgetary processes
  • Integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) planning system
  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Controllership, Finance or related fields is recommended
