About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects and consulting engagements
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure projects meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards
  • Serve as primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings, status reviews, steering committee meetings, and project closures
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and consultants
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; develop mitigation and contingency plans
  • Escalate critical issues and risks to senior management
  • Track project budgets, costs, resource utilization, profitability, and billing milestones
  • Support contract management, change requests, and scope control
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, governance standards, and best practices
  • Monitor deliverables for quality and compliance
  • Conduct lessons-learned sessions and drive process improvements
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
  • Maintain project documentation, including scope documents, schedules, RAID logs, and change requests
  • Ensure accurate project records and audit readiness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10 years of IT project management experience
  • Experience managing digital transformation teams in agile and waterfall environments
  • Experience in IT services, software development, or consulting environments
  • Working knowledge of JIRA or similar tools
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working with enterprise clients and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Azure DevOps deployments desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to use project management tools to plan and manage projects
  • Knowledge of project planning and scheduling
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
  • Resource and budget management skills
  • Vendor and contract management skills
  • Risk and issue management skills
  • Understanding of SDLC and IT infrastructure
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Ability to lead globally distributed teams
  • Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Technical understanding of cloud migrations, DevOps, application development, and infrastructure implementations
