About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store.
- You ensure product availability and the accuracy of the operational figures within your area of responsibility.
- Together with your team, you arrange and present products attractively.
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team.
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the related refrigerated displays and chests in the self-service area.
- Through careful staff scheduling and your talent for motivating, developing and inspiring employees, it becomes clear: you are the ideal candidate for this role.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh goods sector (Fachverkäufer/in im Frischebereich) or as a butcher/meat cutter.
- Ideally, a master craftsman's certificate in the butcher's trade (Meisterprüfung im Metzgerhandwerk) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier.
- Some initial leadership experience at service counters is desirable.
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products.
- A sociable, responsible team-player who is strongly committed to the commercial success of their department and to the satisfaction of customers and colleagues.
