About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with efficient sales turnover
- You ensure product availability and the accuracy of the figures in your area of responsibility
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters
- You ensure optimal performance of the relevant refrigerated shelves and chests in the self-service area
- Your careful staff scheduling motivates, develops and inspires employees
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector (Fachverkäufer/-in) or as a butcher (m/f/d)
- Ideally a master craftsman's certificate in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in counter service
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
