About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your assigned HIT store
- You navigate confidently between demand-driven purchasing and rapid product turnover
- You ensure product availability and that the performance figures in your area of responsibility are met
- Together with your team you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers in an individual, personal, expert, and warm manner
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated display cabinets and chests in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling and your talent for motivating, developing, and inspiring employees, you drive your team’s success
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally, a master butcher qualification or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in the service counter area
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese, and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
