About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the performance figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You provide individual, personal, expert and friendly advice and service to customers
- You are responsible for the service counters
- You ensure optimal performance of the refrigerated shelving and display freezers in the self‑service area
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you secure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher/meat cutter
- Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
- Very good knowledge of the broad range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A personable, responsible team‑player personality
