About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- Check product availability and performance figures within your area of responsibility
- Ensure attractive product presentation
- Provide individual, personal, expert and friendly advice and service to customers
- Take responsibility for the service counters and ensure their optimal performance
- Plan staff schedules and motivate the team
Requirements
- Completed training as a retail specialist in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- Outgoing, responsible team-player personality
