About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your assigned HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that inventory and performance figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, knowledgeably and warmly
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling, you motivate, develop and inspire your team
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a retail specialist in the fresh department (Fachverkäufer im Frischebereich) or as a butcher/meatcutter
- Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in the butchery trade (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably initial leadership experience in service counter operations
- Excellent knowledge of sausages, meats, cheeses and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
