About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the numbers in your area of responsibility are correct
- Together with your team, you create attractive product displays
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling, you motivate, develop and inspire your employees
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in butchery or further qualification as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
- Excellent knowledge of sausage/cold-cut, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
