About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store.
- You confidently strike the right balance between demand-led purchasing and rapid product turnover.
- You ensure product availability and that the performance figures in your area of responsibility are on target.
- Together with your team, you present products attractively.
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team.
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated displays and freezers in the self-service area.
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you demonstrate that you are the perfect choice for this role!
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-products area (Fachverkäufer/in im Frischebereich) or as a butcher/meat cutter
- Ideally, a master butcher qualification (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably initial leadership experience in the area of service counters
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is highly dedicated to the commercial success of their area as well as to the satisfaction of customers and the team
