About the role

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
  • You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
  • Together with your team, you merchandise products attractively
  • You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly
  • You take responsibility for the service counters
  • You ensure the optimal performance of the relevant refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
  • Ideally a master butcher qualification (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably some initial leadership experience in the service counter area
  • Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
  • An outgoing, responsible team-player personality
