About the role
- You independently manage the fresh food and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- Together with your team, you arrange and present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers individually, personally, professionally and warmly
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the related refrigerated shelves and chests in the self-service area
- Your careful staff planning and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees demonstrate your suitability for this role
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a trained butcher
- Ideally a master butcher qualification or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably initial supervisory experience in service counter operations
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area as well as to the satisfaction of customers and colleagues
