About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You confidently balance demand-oriented purchasing with prompt product turnover
- You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
- You present and merchandise products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and chests
- You carry out careful staff scheduling and motivate your team
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counter operations
- Very good knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
