About the role

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
  • You ensure product availability and that inventory and sales figures within your area of responsibility are accurate
  • Together with your team you present and merchandise your products attractively
  • You provide customers with individual, personal, knowledgeable and friendly advice and service
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and chests in the self-service area
  • You ensure efficient staff planning and use your talent to motivate, develop and inspire employees

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
  • Ideally a master butcher certification (Meister) or further qualification as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably initial leadership experience in service counters
  • Very good knowledge of a broad range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
  • An outgoing, responsible team-player personality
