About the role

  • You independently manage the fresh-food and service counters in your HIT store
  • You ensure product availability and that the key figures in your area of responsibility are met
  • Together with your team, you arrange and present products attractively
  • You provide individual, personal, expert and friendly advice and service to your customers
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated display units and chests in the self-service area

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a qualified butcher
  • Ideally a master craftsman certificate in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably some initial leadership experience in the area of service counters
  • Excellent knowledge of a wide range of sausages, meats, cheeses and fish products
  • A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area and to the satisfaction of customers and the team
