About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the performance figures within your area of responsibility are met
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated display units
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you ensure smooth operations and a high-performing team
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh foods sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master butcher qualification (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A personable, responsible team-player who is committed to the commercial success of their area and to the satisfaction of customers and colleagues
