About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and the performance metrics in your area of responsibility
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
- You use careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales clerk in the fresh products area (Fachverkäufer im Frischebereich) or as a butcher/meat cutter
- Ideally a master craftsman's certificate in butchery (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
- Very good knowledge of the wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality
