About the role
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your assigned HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that sales and inventory figures within your area of responsibility are correct
- Together with your team, you present merchandise attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and freezers
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop, and inspire employees, you ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman (Meister) certificate in the butchery trade or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese, and fish products
- Outgoing, responsible team-player personality
