About the role

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your designated HIT store.
  • You ensure product availability and the accuracy of the figures in your area of responsibility.
  • Together with your team, you arrange and present products attractively.
  • You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team.
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated displays and chest freezers in the self-service area.
  • You motivate, develop and inspire your employees.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher.
  • Ideally a master craftsman certificate in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier.
  • Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters.
  • Very good knowledge of the wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products.
  • A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is strongly committed to the commercial success of their area as well as to the satisfaction of customers and the team.
