About the role
- You independently manage the fresh food and service counters in your HIT supermarket
- You ensure product availability and that the metrics in your area of responsibility are met
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated display units and chests in the self-service area
- You ensure smooth operations through careful staff planning and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman certification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in the area of service counters
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team player
