About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the global product roadmap to open new revenue streams and increase client retention
  • Manage and mentor domain-specific automotive technology research teams
  • Lead voice-of-the-customer insight gathering and market research initiatives
  • Identify unmet customer needs and translate them into actionable product features
  • Own the P&L of the product portfolio
  • Help shape global sales strategy and market penetration
  • Partner with engineering, product, research, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product delivery and market traction
  • Oversee global, multidisciplinary research teams across connected car, electronics, chassis, ADAS, infotainment, and interior systems
  • Support existing products and conceive and develop new products with accountability for global revenue and product strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of experience in automotive technology and/or automotive planning at an OEM, supplier, market research company, or consulting company
  • Background in OEM feature planning is a plus
  • Deep understanding of the automotive ecosystem
  • Understanding of interconnection across different automotive systems and subsystems
  • Proven ability to synthesize research insights into high-impact thought leadership
  • Demonstrated success managing global, cross-functional teams
  • Experience holding P&L or revenue responsibility
  • Proven executive presentation skills and ability to create and deliver clear, structured narratives for senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Product Management, or a related field preferred
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15 to 35%
