About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, target, and engage prospective clients across the UK & Ireland
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Lead outbound prospecting and develop strategic approaches to target key accounts
  • Qualify opportunities and progress deals through the full sales cycle
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales and Product teams to effectively position Daon’s TrustX platform
  • Lead or contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations
  • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Support the development and execution of account plans alongside senior stakeholders
  • Partner closely with the VP of UK & Ireland and Sales Directors to execute market expansion strategies
  • Support the Head of Sales for EMEA & APAC in advancing strategic opportunities
  • Maintain and develop relationships within a defined portfolio of accounts
  • Support account reviews and ensure ongoing client engagement and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Ensure consistent follow-up on opportunities and key actions
  • Support contract renewals and commercial processes as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years’ experience in a Sales, Business Development, or Account Executive role within a technology or SaaS environment
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline and close new business (new logos)
  • Experience selling into B2B enterprise or mid-market clients
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and stakeholder management
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Exposure to identity, security, or SaaS solutions is advantageous
