About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design high-quality customer solutions that clearly demonstrate the value of Daon technology and integration approaches
Serve as the primary technical interface with customers in the sales cycle
Develop and deliver tailored presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept
Analyze and respond to RFIs, RFPs, writing proposals and related materials
Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to represent Daon
Act as an expert in identity technologies, including biometrics, digital identity, ID documents and similar
Develop innovative solution approaches that strengthen Daon’s competitive position
Create solution architectures and show how solutions can be delivered securely and at scale
Partner with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Support on strategy and solution design
Collaborate with the Daon Customer Success team to ensure smooth delivery handover and support implementation projects as a local technical presence
Communicate product requirements and market insights to internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 + years in a customer ‑ facing pre ‑ sales /solution engineering , consulting or similar role
7 + years of industry experience, preferably in software development / architecture or similar roles
Strong problem ‑ solving and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills – oral and written – for your role
Knowledge of SaaS, REST / web services, and security technologies
Experience working with technical and business stakeholders at various levels
Experience working directly with customers in complex environments
Nice to have
Experience with biometrics or identity management
Knowledge of iOS/Android and web development frameworks; identity standards such as OIDC
Understanding of enterprise architecture and security
Experience working with financial services organizations
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in areas including digital identity, customer identity verification, AI, data protection and information security
