About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve in a Program Analyst / Project Officer role.
- Assist the Government Team Lead to manage project goals and plans for successful project execution.
- Monitor performance of strategies to ensure program cost, schedule, and performance objectives are priority of effort.
- Assist the Government Team Lead to manage project efforts to anticipate and fulfill customer needs and alignment to approved requirements.
- Maintain effective lines of communication and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize sharing of critical project information.
- Develop, review, and manage program plans, integrated master schedules, project briefs, and other necessary documentation necessary to meet project milestones and goals.
- Assist the Government Team Lead in communicating project results and status to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Communicate program priorities, planning, and execution, using oral and written means, to internal/external stakeholders.
- Assist the Government Team Lead to ensure a cooperative environment by coordinating efforts with internal and external organizations.
- Assist the Government Team Lead in organizing and overseeing a diverse, cross-disciplinary team of government civilians and contractor personnel to execute project goals and objectives effectively, ensuring the successful accomplishment of all project requirements.
- Assist the Government Team Lead to create an environment of teamwork, trust and cooperation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s degree is preferred with at least twelve (12) years of progressive experience in program analytics in a defense acquisitions program office or similar organization.
- This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance.
- Mid-level knowledge of Government acquisition practices and processes.
- Shall have notable experience in U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps programs or operations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team on multidisciplinary projects in a dynamic environment.
- Experience conducting research and data/trend analysis on weapon systems to support readiness and cost optimization.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to adapt to fast paced and changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills both in both oral and written.
